Nitrous injected 1100 Suzuki with far too much power!          

At the drag strip, with lots of Nitrous Oxide! You can just see the bottle on the side above the rear wheel.

This was a scrutineers nightmare, over 200bhp+  at the rear wheel, (with 2 stages or 2 nitrous systems) bomber jacket, lace up shoes, jeans, no gloves, visor up............ don't do it.....

 

This was a stock motor, with 5 degree advanced exhaust cam or camshaft, colder plugs, stronger clutch springs, longer Spondon Engineering swinging arm, 6inch wide wheel with 180 or 190 tire on back, Yamaha Exup front wheel tyre and brakes, 2 big fuel pumps - one for the motor and one to feed both nitrous systems, ignition kill gear shift, and a stainless eagle race 4 into 1 exhaust with no silencing, two separate nitrous systems. One operates at full throttle, off the line (+40bhp extra) The other as soon as the tyre can take it, in 2nd gear onwards (about 70mph or halfway through 2nd) operated by the starter button! (+60bhp on top of the rest)......

 

This is (was) also my road bike. It does not look much here, but was well engineered and could leave a thick black stripe 250yds long, do zero to 60mph in 2.1 secs, 0 to 100mph in just over 4.5 secs and around 150mph in 10 secs.  (1/4 mile regularly 10.1secs @ 147).

After this it was also fitted with a big Rayjay TO4e Turbocharger, and run at 15 psi of boost on the road. Never had chance to race it in this configuration, as my garage/workshop was destroyed by a large petrol spill and a central heating boiler...

I was in it at the time, and spent weeks in hospital with burns, and a couple of months recovering at home. RIP bike/workshop/my skin.....

After this I had a GSXR1100 WP Suzuki, with nitrous, making 190BHP (rear wheel)  but looking totally stock, and then a 1200 Suzuki Bandit that was to be turbocharged. Trouble is that while I was running this in, I crashed it into a ditch and finished up in a wheelchair.....
